Academic ableism is a pervasive yet often unrecognized issue in educational contexts.
In this two-hour workshop, faculty will gain an understanding of academic ableism, including its definitions, the ways it shows up in the classroom, and how it impacts students with disabilities negatively.
Faculty will leave this workshop better equipped to identify and challenge ableist practices and create a more inclusive and equitable learning environment.
