Curious and want to know more about ePortfolios? Here is your chance! Over the course of three, 75 minute synchronous sessions you will learn the basics of ePortfolios, including the pedagogy and the tools that support their use for teaching and learning. We will cover the basics of what ePorfolios are and their uses for teaching and learning as well as introduce some suggestions and strategies for implementation and provide information regarding resources and additional support.
Through engaging in the activities and content of this workshop, you have the opportunity to:
- Participate in an eportfolio learning community
- Define different types and features of eportfolios and their benefits for teaching and learning
- Connect various pedagogical frameworks to eportfolios
- Explore KPU supported eportfolio platforms and case uses
- Reflect on session learnings and consider opportunities for implementation of eportfolio pedagogy in practice
- Extend their learning by engaging in scaffolded post-session activities
