Weaving Our Knowledge provides a supportive peer learning environment for moving ahead with your Indigenization and intercultural teaching practice. The program includes four units of study.
- In Foundations of Intercultural Teaching, you will develop foundational theoretical knowledge and a personal development plan.
- Foundations of Indigenization enhances your understanding of Indigenous ways of knowing, histories, and truth and reconciliation.
- Inclusive Pedagogies introduces a framework for decoding culturally-based implicit knowledges and making small, but tangible shifts to support students in achieving course outcomes.
- Finally, Two-Eyed Seeing: Incorporating Indigenous and Intercultural Perspectives in Curriculum Design supports you in applying your knowledge as you envision transformations in course content and learning communities.
*This program replaces the earlier Intercultural Teaching Program (ITP). ITP Alumni will be invited to register in a shorter program focusing on the new content in Weaving our Knowledge.
